I checked reviews of NYC endodontist online. Though this doctor has only a few reviews but the overall score is good. That is the reason why I went to her. However, after seeing her, I know why there are only a few reviews: 1. I came early but waited about 30mins. The nurse said that she was on the phone. 2. The devices and tools look dirty, and the doctor is not patient 3. Though I told her not to touch a tooth using metal tool, she did, and made me painful. 4. Though I have a good dental insurance, the office tries to charge me unreasonable additional fees. 5. She charges me more than 200 dollars for a 20mins painful consultation.

Dr. Linenberg is one of new York's finest! Not only is she good at what she does, but also very gentle, humble and nice. The staff was also awesome as well! Thanks Dr. Linenberg for taking away my tooth pain and treating me more like a friend rather than a patient. And to the wonderful staff! Adianny, Aneillia, Rosa, Susana, Nelly and Patricia I thank you all as well. Highly recommended!!!

My experience with Dr. Courtney Linenberg was not a positive one. In my opinion, she is very young, not experienced, and extremely conservative in her diagnosis. My dentist and I were SURE I needed a root canal (all the signs were there) when I went to her office she did a couple tests and sent me off without a Root Canal and told me to come back in a week after taking antibiotics to test again - the visit with her lasted all of 10 minutes. Because I was in pain and travelling out of the country soon, and at my dentist’s referral, I went to see another specialist, Dr David Dane (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM), he did the same tests that Dr Linenberg did and in seconds knew I needed a root canal. He performed the procedure thoroughly and told me there was quite an infection, and had I gone flying with this tooth the way it was, I would have been in excruciating pain due to the pressure in the cabin from flying. I was thankful to have tooth cared for properly. Unfortunately, because Dr Dane's calendar during normal business hours was full, I had to pay an extra $300 for a nighttime emergency appointment – in addition to the normal fee for a Root Canal. Then, to add insult to injury, I received a bill from Dr Linenberg for $70 out of pocket (and she had already received $110 from my insurance company for the Consultation). When I called their office to ask them to please wave/write-off the $70 fee and explained what had happened I spoke with Nelly and she said she spoke with Dr Linenberg and they decided that I was responsible for this $70 cost (reluctantly, I finally paid this fee). But, going to her was a very expensive mistake; I ended up losing $180 ($70 out of pocket to her directly and $110 that could have gone towards my root canal and cap – because I was maxed out I had to pay a substantial amount out of pocket), plus the emergency fee of $300 in addition to the normal cost of the Root Canal. Personally, I would steer clear of her and look for someone less conservative in practice with a bit more compassionate with regards to billing, especially when their diagnosis was wrong and the patient in pain. Needless to say, I am not a fan and do not recommend her.

Dr. Linenberg made what could have been a horrible office visit into a pleasant one. The bedside manner of Dr. Linenberg and the staff was the best I have ever received. From the moment I stepped in the front door from the moment I left, I felt at ease and completely comfortable in their care.
